Kang Yi,Li Xiuling,Yang Yuxiu,Wang Tiancai 1(Department of Gastroenterology,Henan Province People 's Hospital,Zhengzhou 450003,1Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Wuhan 430030,China);
Objective To detect the expression of peroxisome proliferator-actived receptor γ(PPARγ)in the hepatic tissue of different liver diseases and explore its significance.Methods The protein expression of PPARγ was detected by means of immunohistochemistry in 68 cases of different liver diseases,including 18 cases of cirrhosis,22 cases of hepatocarcinoma,12 cases of hepatic cyst and 11 cases of hepatic hemangioma.The average of A values was obtained by image analysis.Results Positive staining of PPARγ was observed in all of the human liver tissues.The expression of PPARγ in tissues of hepatic cyst,hepatic hemangioma and normal liver was stronger than that in tissues of cirrhosis and liver carcinoma(P0.05).Conclusion The decreased PPARγ expression in tissues of cirrhosis and liver carcinoma may participate in their pathogenesis.
