THE INFLUENCE OF LABIATAE ON ENZYMHISTOCHEMI ISCHEMIC LIVER REMNANT IN RATS

Zhang Zhiwei, Wu Zaide, Chen Xiaoping (Department of Surgery, Tongji Hospital Tongji Medical University, Wuhan 430030 China)
Enzymhistochemical changes of hepatocytes on the ischemic liver remnant in rats were observed. The results showed that. The reaction of PAS and the activities of SDH, G 6 Pase and Mg 2+ ATPase in ischemia group were weaker than those in the control group, but the activities of LDH and ACP were higher in the former than in the latter. In the labiatae group the activities of above mentioned enzyme were between the ischemia and control. This suggests, that Labiatae may pretect the activities of some metabolic enzyme of ischemic liver remnant and promote its regeneration.
