Reviews on studies of exploitation and utilization of cloud-water resource in the Qilian Mountains region

In this paper,the scientific significance of exploitation and utilization of cloud-water resource in the Qilian Mountains region was analyzed.The international status of the study on exploitation and utilization of cloud-water resource was introduced.And the up to date research advances were generalized in topography cloud field experiment, monitoring method of cloud-water resource,physical model of topography cloud,characteristics of distribution of cloud-water resource and precipitation,conceptual model of artificial modification weather,which were gotten from"the study on exploitation and utilization of cloud-water resource in the Qilian Mountains region from the National Science and Technology Program".Then,effect and benefit of artificial modification weather in the Qilian Mountains region were evaluated.Finally,some preliminary problems about exploitation and utilization of cloud-water resource in the Qilian Mountains region were discussed.
