LI Hong wen, GAO Huan wen, ZHOU Xing xiang, MAO Ning (College of Machinery Engineering, China Agricultural University, Beijing 100083, China)
Based on 7 year study on conservation tillage for maize in dryland and Shouyang local production inputs and prices of farm prducts, economic benefits of conservation tillage and conventional tillage are analyzed. The results show that, conservation tillage can increase yields and net income and the total machinery inputs can be reclaimed in 2~3 years, shorter than with conventional tillage. This analysis result will be propitious for wide adoption of conservation tillage.
