Spatial variability of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in cotton field

The study was made on spatial variability of organic matter ?total nitrogen?phosphorus and potassium of saline anthropogenic alluvial soil by the method of traditional statistics and geostatistics. The analysis results showed: spatial variability of soil organic matter and total nitrogen was moderate, total phosphorus and potassium was weak, their reasonable sampling numbers were given under certain precision and credible level. Spatial variability of soil organic matter was decreased with the growth of cotton, and their semi variogram maps and contour maps were presented. The relative analysis of soil organic matter and cotton yield showed: they had outstanding positive correlation.
