Some Issues on Water Resources Management

The sustainable development of water resources is one of premises in making economic, social and environmental development in a harmonious development way. Strengthening water resources management is the key to the sustainable development of water resources. In order to make scientific management of water resources, several issues as follows have to be solved: The sustainable development of water resources is the aim of water resources management; Water resources management should be transferred from supplies management to demand management; It is important to clarity the distinction between the management of economic value of water resources and environmental value of water resources; Water resources management should be water capital management essentially; The arid region of our country should pay more attention to water resources management.
