The heat environment of land surface of typical oasis in upper reaches of Tarim river with remote sensing images

Land surface temperature(LST) is the key factor of the thermal state of the earth system and the balance of water and heat.The author used the mono-window algorithm by Qin Zhi-hao and TM data to retrieve land surface temperature of the typical oasis in the upper reaches of Tarim river between 2007 and 2011,and the actual land surface temperature was used to test it.The results shows:(1) The underlying surface was mainly concentrated in the 18-51℃,the water surface temperature was about 18-24℃,the farmland surface temperature was about 24-29℃,the forestland surface temperature was about 29-36℃,the bare land around the oasis surface temperature was the 36-42℃,away from the oasis in the desert regions of the surface temperature was 42-51℃.The surface temperature of water body was the lowest,but the bare land and desert was the highest.(2)During the 2007-2011,land surface temperature changes in the study area showed that the water surface temperature increased about 0-4℃ on average,the vegetation surface temperature increased about 0-12℃ on average,the bare-land surface temperature increased about 0-7℃ on average,the desert away from the oasis surface temperature increased about 0-9℃ on average.Through the above research,we could get a conclusion that the surface temperature trend was increasing year by year.The land surface temperature was ascending from oasis center to desert gradually,that it performed "cool island" clearly.This is very important significance for further understanding the energy exchange status of soil-plant-atmosphere system and the differences of regional heat distribution in arid and semi-arid area of the northwest China.
