Response of dryland wheat yield to light and temperature

In order to explore the influence mechanism and regulation of the cooperation effect of light and temperature on yields of crops,the response of wheat to light and changed temperature was researched by simulating wheat yield using APSIM model.The results showed that when the temperature was unchanged,wheat yield and light showed an open up type change of quadratic parabola,and threshold point of lower light was 3.23MJ/m2(the daily average light go up to17.89MJ/m2).When light was less than 17.89 MJ/m2,light on yield showed negative effect,when decreased 0.5MJ / m2,the highest yield decrease range reached 7.1%,with average reduction of 4.2%.When light was greater than 17.89 MJ/m2,light on yield was positive effect,when light increased 0.5MJ/m2 the highest yield improvement range reached 2.9%,with average improvement of 1.0%.When light was constant,wheat yield with temperature showed decrease change with quadratic parabola,and the contribution of temperature to the yield coincided with the superimposed decreasing effect.Light increased 0.5℃,the highest yield decrease range reached 13.37%,with average reduction of 7.31%.There existed an plus interaction effect between them.Increasing yield caused by elevated light can't compensate the yield reduction caused by high temperature.
