DEFICIENCY OF TYPE 100 BAILEY BRIDGES UNDER TODAY′S TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AND FEATURES OF TYPE 200 BRIDGES

Compact 100 Bailey bridges are widely used and play an important role in temporary, emergency or permanent bridging missions, but the bridges show deficiency under today′s traffic conditions. Compact 200 Bailey bridges on a base of compact 100 Bailey bridges provide wider roadway, greater rigidity, greater stability overall, greater fatigue life and more effective structures.
