CALCULATION OF SUSPENSION CABLE LENGTH WITH UNEQUAL HEIGHT SUPPORTS

Zhang Zhiguo Liu Shuhong Wang Huidong (Shijiazhuang Railway Institute Shijiazhuang 050043)  
Based on the catenary curve and parabola curve equations respectively,the general calculation formulas of stressed and unstressed cable lengths are derived,and the relations among these formulas are compared and explained briefly.
