REVIEW AND ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL RESEARCHES ON DISTORTIONAL BUCKLING OF COLD-FORMED THIN-WALLED STEEL MEMBERS

A general review on distortional buckling of cold-formed thin-walled steel members is presented.The characters and behaviors as well as some experimental and theoretical research results of distortional buckling are introduced in detail.The calculating methods of distortional buckling design in Australian Specifications AS/NZS 4600 and North American Specification NAS 2004,and some problems in theory and design of distortional buckling are also summarized and discussed.
