Guo Sheng Zhao Jincheng Shi Jianyong (Department of Civil Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai 200240, China)  
A nonlinear analysis of Kiewitt K6 single layer latticed dome was carried out by ANSYS at elevated temperature obtained through using FDS to simulate the large space building in fire. The influencing factors and the changing regularity of the ultimate load, initial imperfections’ sensitivity of structural and instability modes were discussed. The results showed that the thermal expansion of the latticed dome in the fire was primary under low temperature and it caused the incensement of the ultimate load; with the elevating of temperature, the material softens, which caused the ultimate load reducing. The span ratios, the locations of fire, the conditions of supports and the initial imperfections obviously the ultimate load. The influence of temperature on the imperfections’ sensitivity of structural was connected with the distribution of thermal field. The fundamental changes of instability modes occured at the moment that the temperature elevated quickly.
