Optimization of Fixture Scheme for Milling Thin-walled Arc Workpiece

In aerospace industry,many thin-walled workpieces are used in order to reduce the weight.For these workpieces,the deformation can be reduced through optimizing fixture layout.In this paper,the clamping points are optimized during milling process of thin-walled arc workpiece.Six heuristic rules are proposed.Based on the maximal deformation of each region,these rules decide the movement direction of each clamping point,having a faster optimizing speed.
