Automatic Assembly Technology Based on Datum Orientation

This paper provides a new strategy of automatic assembly based on model and a whole product automatic assembly model with wide applicability, which adopts the concept of assembly interface. The model can be divided into the assembly interface model, orientation relation model and product assembly relation model according to assembly relation. Thus, it is easy to get the assembly information and express the product model. The result can also be used in the design and implement of modularizing design technology and it can also be used with other CAD technology.
