Research on Dynamic Characteristic of CMM Probe

To implement the optimal dynamic measuring precision of CMM,the measurement principle of the contacted probe is introduced.The complex relationship between the dynamic characteristics of probe and dynamic measurement precision of CMM is researched,and the concept of dynamic effective functional diameter of the probe is proposed.The influences of the DCC parameters of CMM on the dynamic effective functional diameter of probe is analyzed by the experiments.The results of the experiments show that the approaching distance has more effect on the functional diameter change than the probing and moving velocity of the probe,and the moving velocity has the least effect on the change.
