A High-precision Calibration Method for Imaging Measurement System Based on Mesh Grids

A high-precision calibration method for imaging measurement system is proposed.A mesh-grid target is designed and a feature-point extraction method is presented based on local imaging processing and parallel line fitting method.A adjusting method for vidicon's position is adopted based on targets.The imaging measurement system is calibrated through two steps: firstly,linear calibration is implemented;secondly,image aberrations are corrected polynomial fitting.The experimental results demonstrate that the calibration precision after aberration correction can achieve 0.18 pixels,which is higher than other methods.
