Research on High-speed Milling Technology in Thin-walled Workpieces

High-speed milling of thin-walled workpieces having more advantages than common NC milling,it is a important developing direction of cutting thin-walled workpieces.Based on the main factors affecting machining quality and efficiency of thin-walled workpieces,these key technologies such as processing technology,cutting tool,NC programming and fixture layout are analyzed and summarized in this paper. The techniques and technical ways of improving milling precision,surface quality and milling efficiency of the thin-walled workpieces are proposed.
