RAPD Markers Associated with Resistance to Soybean Cyst Nematode

RAPD PCR technology was employed to analyze genome DNA of 7 soybean accessions resistance to SCN and 10 soybean accessions sensitive to SCN. Two hundred random primers all got lucid and stable RAPD amplified products, and twenty one of these random primers had polymorphic products. Five DNA fragments showing significant relativity to the phenomenon of resistance to SCN were obtained. These RAPD markers have greater reproducibility and stablity and can assist to select new cultivaals resistant to SCN.
