Catalytic Spectrofluorimetric Analysis of Ultratrace Amounts of Ru

Jiang Zhiliang,Jiang Caiwu,Li Fang (Center of Computer & Analysis Testing,Guangxi Normal University,Guilin 541004,China)  
Under the conditions of 0 08 mol/L HCl medium at 70℃,Ru(Ⅲ)catalyses KIO 4 oxidation of rhodamine B to form a green fluorescemce product(λ ex /λ em =248nm/529nm).A calibration graph from 0 2 to 10ng/L Ru and detection limit of 0 1ng/L Ru were obtained by the fixed-reaction time procedure.The catalytic spectrofluorimetric method has been applied to analysis of Ru in Fe-Pt ore sample,with better results.
