ZENG Hong-mei(Dept.of Foreign languages,Guangdong Education Institute,Guangzhou,Guangdong,510303,P.R.China)
Translation is an activity which is by no means a simple word transformation but manipulated by many ideological factors. The whole process of translation, namely, the choice of original texts, the adoption of translation strategies and the reception of the translated version,is dominated by the theory of ideology. Therefore,an intensive and extensive study of translation study in the social and cultural environment should be made under the guidance of ideology from the perspective of Critical Discouse Analysis(CDA).
