The Advances in the Research on Central Mechanism for Exercise-induced Fatigue

CAI Qiu(Department of Physical Education,Guangdong University of Education,Guangzhou,Guangdong,510303,P.R.China)  
The chemical mechanism for central nervous system could be explained as the exercise-induced concentration variation of 5-hydroxytryptophan,duobaan,γ-aminobutyric acid,ammonia,acetylcholine,and etc.in brain.However,the neurophysiological mechanism for central system fatigue also attracted more and more attention.It was revealed that the firing rate of human motor units declined with loading progression in the process of muscle isometric contraction.Depending on the muscle intelligence,the central nervous system could fully maintain the degree of muscle contraction and keep fatigued muscle in activated state in the most efficient way.An effect of protective inhibition was thus resulted.
