Preliminary Study on Terrestrial Electric Field Anomaly Before Wen′an M_L5.5 Earthquake

Ma Junzhao,Tian Shan,Wang Jianguo,Xu Xuegong,Zhang Lei and Ma Ji (Earthquake Administration of Tianjin,Tianjin 300201,China)  
Through analyzing and processing the continuous observation data of the telluric electric field at Jinghai and Baodi stations which close to the epicenter of Wen′an earthquake of ML5.5 on July 4,2006 since 2002,preliminary results show there are anomaly in telluric electric field before the Wen′an earthquake.It is indicated that multi-polar with short distance observation may be an effective approach to identify Geo-electric anomaly before earthquakes.
