The application of photoFenton method in wastewater is reviewed in the paper.The principles,advantages,disadvantages of this kind of methods and its developmental trend have been discussed.UVVis/H2O2/Ferrioxalate Complexes process is a new kind of advanced oxidation technologies (AOTs) developed from photoFenton method.This process has a much higher efficiency than that of the UVVis/Fe2+/H2O2 and UV/H2O2 process?TiO2 process and WO3 process in the treatment of difficultlydegraded organic in contaminated water.It has better application prospect in the future,because it has potential in using of the solar energy.
