Investigation on Porous Eco-Concrete and Its Planting Performance

The porous eco-concrete is a kind of pervious concrete in which the plants can grow,in this paper the influence of the concrete compositions on the planting grass performance of the porous concrete and the growing status of the different kinds of grass in the porous concrete are studied.The result indicates that the aggregate with big size can form higher void ratio and better connect pores than others,the replacement of mineral mixture to the cement decrease the pH value of the soil in the void,and the recycling aggregate can improve the water retaining capability of the porous concrete,they all contribute to the planting performance of the concrete,the grass sort Pinnacle and Crossfire are very suitable to be seeded in the porous concrete.
