Analysis of Damage Mechanism for Concrete Exposed to Wetting-Drying and Sulfate Environment

The corrosion mechanism for concrete exposed to the wetting-drying and sulfate environment is profoundly studied with the diffusion-reaction equation.The wetting-drying cycles change the migration mode and corrosion process of sulfates in the concrete,which aggravates the deterioration of properties of the concrete.According to the analysis of the existing research,the effecting law of several major factors,such as the variety and concentration of sulfates,mineral admixtures,the concrete strength,et al,on the properties damage of concrete is discussed.
