A Study on Pre-disaster Identification for Highway Geological Hazard

In order to prevent and mitigate geological hazards,the pre-disaster identification is becoming very important for highway engineering and transportation.The purposes and principles of pre-disaster identification for geological hazard of highway are proposed through analyzing and summarizing researching results.According to hazard environment,design and construction and signs of deformation,the prone sites and the pre-disaster identification methods for collapse and landslides of highway geological hazards are studied;the identification criterion is put forward consisting of 8 identification criterions for collapse and 9 for landslides based on site investigation and theoretical analysis.This job makes the identification of potential collapse and landslides geological hazard possible,and provides the reference for prevention and control of highway geological hazard,and makes geological hazard control of highway more active and advanced.Application results show that the pre-disaster identification has good operability and economic practicality.
