Influencing Factors Analysis of Horizontal Bearing Capacity of Single Pipe Pile

Aiming at the horizontal bearing problem of the concrete single pipe pile on the wet and soft foundation,the method of numerical simulation is reasonably determined on the basis of field test data,which is used to analyze the main factors in different working conditions by controlling variable.The results show that the numerical method is reasonable and feasible compared with field test data.Pile diameter and soil stiffness around the pile are the main factors which affect the horizontal bearing capacity of single pile,followed by pile length,wall thickness of pile,pile stiffness and soil cohesion values,and the density and frictional angle of soil are relatively low.Increasing pile diameter,improving surface soil stiffness and setting up cushion layer are recommended to improve the horizontal bearing capacity of single pile.The recommended range of soil compression modulus is more than 15 MPa,the recommended depth of improving surface soil stiffness is range 2 m to 3 m,the recommended thickness of cushion layer is range 1 m to 2 m.
