Optimization Model for Reverse Logistics Network Design for Product Recovery

To design reverse logistics networks for product recovery based on the traditional forward logistics network,a single-commodity,capacitated optimization model relying on mixed integer linear programming is put forward.Accordingly,the number of various facilities,their locations and the allocation of the corresponding goods flows can be decided upon.The objective is to minimize the sum of investment and operational costs.To speed up the solution of the model,a solution methodology based on the Benders decomposition is presented.Finally,the validity of the model and algorithm is demonstrated by a numerical example.
