Stability Analysis of Composite Slope by Equivalent Area Circle Yield Criterion

The stability problem of some deep foundation pit is analyzed by Mohr-Coulomb equivalent area circle yield criterion and strength reduction by FEM. The selection of FEM model under plane strain condition, disposal of boundary conditions and convergence condition are introduced in this paper.The transformation method of the values of c and φ is shown for analyzing stability problem with the large common software-ANSYS.The safty factor of the slope in the method mentioned in this paper is 1.718.The methods have reference value for researchers and constructors.The convergence of this method is satisfactory.The stability of the calculation results is reliable,too.
