Analysis of 3D Finite Element Models for Concrete Pylon Steel-anchor-box in Long-span Cable-stayed Bridge

The structure and stress distribution of the anchorage zone on pylon of long-span cable-stayed bridge are extremely complex.Based on the model of concrete pylon steel-anchor-box in cable-stayed bridge,the configuration character of the anchorage zone was introduced.In combination with finite element method,the stress distribution features analysis and the simulation analysis of the zone were carried out.The results show that(1)although there are a lot of slabs,the global behavior of steel-anchor-box is well and the cable force transfers fluently;(2)the areas of stress concentration are fairly localized;(3)the structural performance satisfies the design requirement under 1.7 times the design load.The results are of important guidance to the design of anchorage zone on pylon of long-span cable-stayed bridge.
