Analysis of the geographical undergraduate teaching reform in China——A comparative study between Auburn University and Fujian Normal University

Based on specific survey of undergraduate education in geographical sciences,investigated the educational objectives,principal curriculums,elective courses,course organization,teaching methods,course grading of Auburn University and Fujian Normal University.The feature and advantages of auburn university were systematically summarized.In order to absorb the experiences of the USA to promote the undergraduate education in geographical sciences of China,many suggestion,such as optimizing course systems,adopting class seminars,advocating thought training class,increasing the difficulty of course assignment and changing evaluation methods,was finally put forward.
