Growing 92%PZN-8%PT Relaxor Ferroelectric Crystals with A PbO Flux Method at High Temperature

A PbO flux method at high temperature in growing 92%PZN- 8% PT relaxor ferroelectric crystal is reported in this paper. The crystal is larger than 25mm and belongs to R 3m space group. The growth conditions especially the charge, the cool well method and the temperature gradient of the growing system are discussed and some piezoelectric properties of the crystal are determined as well.
