Synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanometer-size solid acid catalysts of Co_(0.5)Fe_(2.5)O_4/ZrO_2

In this report,magnetic substrate Co 0.5 Fe 2.5 O 4 and ZrO 2 were assemblied together,and we prepared magnetic solid acid catalyst. The structure and the properties of the synthesized magnetic solid acid was studied by the methods of TEM,DTA,XRD,FT IR.Results showed that impregnation of magnetic substrate delays the transition from ZrO 2(t) to ZrO 2(m) which makes ZrO 2 more stable and magnetic substrate Co 0.5 Fe 2.5 O 4 enhances acid center structure of solid acid ZrO 2,so that those improve its catalytic activity. It can be seen from TEM that particle radius remains about 40nm. Magnetic properties Magnetic solid acid is very good,but after calcined at high temperature saturation magnetization decrease.
