Adsorption properties of ion-exchange fiber for chlorogenic acid

Statically behavior of adsorption of the ion-exchange fiber for chlorogenic acid was investigated.Experimental results show that statically saturated adsorption capacity for chlorogenic acid is 252.2mg/g (dry fiber).The adsorption behavior obeys the Langmuir isotherm and the freundlich equation.The apparent activation energy was E_a=15.498kJ/mol,the apparent rate constant increases along with the augment of the temperature.Chlorogenic acid adsorbed on fiber can be eluted with watery HCl-CH_3OH solution prepared at certain volumeratio.
