The synthesis of mesoporous TiO_2 and its application in photocatalysis

TiO_2 is a photocatalyst under ultraviolet light irradiation.It has a lot of application in photocatalysis field.Recently,with the development of nanomaterials sciences,mesoporous materials have been becoming the research highlight because of their special physics and chemistry properties.As a photocatalyst,mesoporous TiO_2 presents a higher activity than conventional TiO_2 in photodegradation of poison gases and organic dyes.The synthesis of mesoporous TiO_2 and its application in photocatalysis has been reviewed in this paper.
