Study on the intelligent hybrid composites suitable for stayed cable

Based on the compound rule of hybrid fiber reinforced plastics(HFRP),the design process of intelligent HFRP is clarified in this paper.FBG is buried in the rein in pultrusion process,as well as the other three fibers to form intelligent hybrid fiber composite materials.Three intelligent bars with four FBGs are proceed.After SEM and the analysis of optical fiber spectroscope,the results show that interfaces of FBG/epoxy resin is very good after the bending fracture,the survival rate is 100%.It can be seen that all relatively modulus of wavelength and strain for FBG are above 0.999,which has good linearity relation and dose not have sluggish pheonomenon.One stain sensitivity is 1.1pm/με and three others are all 1.2pm/με,which tallies with theoretical value 1.22 pm/με.It provides that pultrusion process is suitable to produce intelligent HFRP suitable for stayed cables.
