Study on the Elcetric Conductity of Polyglycol-Poly(vinyl acetate)-Salt Complex Membrane

The composite of polyglycol (PEG) and poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) (1/1 (mol)) has been used as the matrix for the polymer electrolyte. The results of DSC, X-ray and SEM showed that the crystallinity of PEG could be destroyed perfectly by PVAc. The rare earth salts were first used to prepare the polymer electrolyte membrane whose electric conductivity could attain to 10~(-6) s.cm~(-1)at room temperature. The electric conductivity of the membrane increased with the addition of some additives and with the increase of temperature and humidity.
