A Study on the Removal of Acid Scarlet G from Water by Chitosan

The adsorption behavior of Acid Scarlet G on chitosan property were studied. The effect on the removal rate on Acid Scarlet G with respect on adsorbent time, initial solution concentration, pH and adsorbent dosage was investigated. The result shows that the removal rate were 98% when Acid Scarlet G solution were 50mg/L with 6g/L chitosan at pH=6 and ambient temperature.
