Simultaneous Determination of As and Hg in Textile by Hydride Generation-Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry

A method was established for the determination of arsenic and mercury in textile samples by intermittent flow-hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry with simulating sweat(acidic or alkalescent) and saliva extraction.The influence of extracting medium,the acidity of sample,concentration of reductants,coexisting elements and carrier flow rate were studied and optimized.The method is simple and rapid with great reliability.The linear range is 1.00—200μg·L -1 for As and 0.50—20μg·L -1 for Hg.The detection limits of As and Hg are 0.03μg·L -1 and 0.01μg·L -1,respectively.The recovery is in the range of 89.4%—100.5% with RSD of 1.32%—5.45%.
