Preliminary Study on the Antioxidant Activity of Flavonoids from Paulownia Tomentosa Steud Flower

The flavonoids was extracted by 70% alcohol as solvent from the paulownia tomentosa steud flower.The antioxidative activity of the extract to lard oil was studied.The potentiating effect of citric acid on the extraction was also studied. The the extracted flavonoids shown antioxidative activity to lard oil and became strong with the extraction addition increased.The citric acid has notable potentiating effect on the antioxidant activity of flavonoids.
