Effects of Pb Stress on Maize Seeding by FTIR Spectra and EDS with Physiological Traits

The effect of lead press on maize seeding was investigated by energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) and Fourier transform infrared-attenuated total reflection(FTIR-ATR) spectrometry with the physiological traits changes.With the enhancement of Pb2+ concentration,the activities of antioxidative enzyme(such as SOD,CAT,POD) would increase at first and then decrease.The peak shape of plant component remained invariable basically by IR spectrum.Significant absorption peak shift of some function groups such as hydroxyl groups(3328—3361cm-1) and acidamide groups(1620—1645cm-1) can be obtained when they participated in the process of absorbing Pb2+.The increased concentration of Pb2+ affected on the absorption of other nutrients,that was obtained by EDS.
