The Determination of Trace Elements in Yeast Rich in Germanium by ICP-AES

This paper studies the determination of the high content of germanium and the trace elements Mg, Cu, Zn, Fe, K and Na etc, in the yeast rich in germanium by artificial cultivation by using ICP/Echelle spectrometer(American Leeman Labs). And the sample preparation method is involved also. The recoveries of the spiked samples are 90%-103% . The relative standard deviation is 10% for Ge and less than 7% for Mg, Cu, Zn, Fe, K and Na.
