Design sensitivity of natural frequency in rotor bearing systems

Based on model analysis technique and vector principle, this paper gives the sensitivity analysis formulas of the eigenvalue of rotor bearing systems with the change of design parameters. Generalized inversion iteration method is applied in the direct solution of quadratic eigenvalue, thus avoiding the normalization and perpendicularity of 2N dimensional eigenvector. A practical example of rotor bearing system is calculated and analyzed.
