Studies on the suitable pollinators for the promising pear cultivars and their self-fertile ability

Zhongli 1, Zhongli 2, Niitaka, Hangkeumbae,Zaomeisu,Hongxiangsu, Chouju, Goldnijisseiki, and Hongtaiyang were used as materials for studying their pollen scattering ability through microscope observation and examining their suitability for cross pollination and self-fertile ability. The results showed that Zhongli 1, Zaomeisu, Hongxiangsu, Chouju, Goldnijisseiki could be used as pollinizers in production because of their normal pollen scatteration, high pollen amount and high fruit set rate; Niitaka, Hangkeumbae, Hongtaiyang cann’t be used as pollinizers in production because of their abnormal pollen scatteration, pollens dysplasia or pollens abnormality. Zhongli 2, Hongxiangsu, Chouju, Goldnijiseiki, Niitaka, hangkeumbae ,Hongtaiyang were self-incompatible; while Zaomeisu and Zhongli 1 were self-fertile.
