Research advances on genetic linkage mapping construction of stone fruit trees

Genetic linkage map is a key field in genome research. It is also the basic of gene localization, gene clone, further genome organization and function. In decade years, fast development of molecular biology, molecular marker technique especially, provides the probability for high-saturated genetic linkage mapping of stone fruit trees and breeding of marker-assisted selection. At home and abroad has been published dozens of genetic linkage maps of stone fruit trees, but they have different defects. Therefore, the research advances of linkage maps in stone fruit trees, several genes/QTLs(quantitative trait loci,QTL) and comparing mapping positioning applications are reviewed in this paper. The urgent problems to be solved, and prospect were also discussed.
