PROGRESS IN REMOTE SENSING:MONITORING CROP DISEASES AND INSECT PESTS

The production of agriculture is very important to the national economy and the people's life. But the eruption of various plant diseases and insect pests will lead to a great loss in the production of agriculture. This thesis focuses on the principium of remote sensing monitoring crop diseases and insect pests, and summarizes the recent domestic and overseas progress in this field. With regard to the existing problems, the thesis puts forward a thought and methods of constructing agricultural parameters and monitoring crop diseases and insect pests by using the data from multispectral middle-measure resources satellite (MODIS).
