Stump Effect of Sandy-Land Hedysarum scoparium Forest in Yellow River Diverting Irrigation Area

The experiment of stumping of Hedysarum scoparium forest was carried out in Yellow River Divert-ing Irrigation Area.The results showed: the amount of new germinated branch and the growth increment of new-branch under different stumping height,when the stubble height is 5 cm and 10 cm,the amount of new germinated branch was higher than the stubble height is 2 cm and 20 cm,the growth increment of new-branch had obviously negative correlation with stubble height,the appropriate stubble height is 2~5 cm.
