Extraction of effective component from Radix astragli with cellulase

To explore the good methods of increasing the yield of the effective component from Radix astragli, the experiment was divided into control and cellulase groups. The control groups adopted the water extraction and the cellulase groups were pre-treated with 0.3 %, 0.4 %, 0.5 % cellulase gradient, and then used water to extract. The results showed that the yield of astragalus polysaccharide (APS) and astragaloside in cellulase groups were notably higher than control group by more than 314.8%, 392.6%, 342.6%, and 83.4%, 61.8 %, 56.8 % , respectively.
