Water Quality Control Indexes of Reclaimed Municipal Wastewater for Farmland Irrigation

According to the national standard The Use of Urban Reclaimed Water—Quality of Farmland Irrigation Water,the key point of prime control indexes and determining maximum limited value of the toxic substances in reclaimed water from municipal wastewater for farmland irrigation were discussed.BOD,COD,SS,DO,free residual chlorine,volatile phonol,LAS as general chemical indexes,Hg,Cd,As,Cr(Ⅵ) and lead as toxicological indexes,fecal coliform and ascaris egg number as hygienic indexes were determined as the prime control indexes.Reference to the related criteria of foreign countries,combined with the real status of municipal wastewater for farmland irrigation in China,the maximum limited values of the prime control indexes were given.
