Review and Prospect on Mycorrhizal Technology Applied in Three-stage Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution Control

To address severity,wide distribution and difficult control of agricultural non-point source water pollution,a three-stage comprehensive control method was proposed based on its diffusion characteristics.This method consists of agricultural cleaner production for source reduction,buffer strip retention for process reduction and composite bioaugmentation remediation for end purification,which combines a comprehensive control system.Particular attention should be paid to the advantages of mycorrhizal fungi in restoration of a degraded ecosystem and a polluted environment.The fundamental role of mycorrhizal technology in various stages of agricultural non-point source water pollution control was introduced.A concept for non-point source pollution control,which depends on self-purification of a water ecosystem and assists with bioaugmentation was proposed to create a comprehensive control method for a whole river basin,that is green,safe,effective and agrees with the diffusion characteristics of agricultural non-point source water pollution.
